I have a history of being a busy person, but not physically busy! So, 7yrs ago when I was referred to Donna to address my back pain I thought "me, exercise, no way!!" My back pain made e give it a try and here I am still seeing Donna for my exercise needs! Donna's approach to exercise is what makes her unique. Rather than just push me to complete the listed exercises, she watches and evaluates what I am doing and continues to make changes. Surprisingly, these changes at times are to back off and just stretch while some "cranky muscle" quiets down. Her goal is to get me strong, relieve pain and prevent injury in the process. This approach has caused me to look at exercise as a means of health, energy and productivity. The encouragement that Donna gives, for what can seem like small gains, is priceless. A couple of years ago I fractured my arm and once I was ready to exercise I hooked back up with Donna. I had a hard time accepting the ground I had lost while recuperating and Donna quickly validated what my body had been through and reminded me that together we would get me back to where I had been before and beyond. This was energizing and helped to keep me focused on the end goal. I'm grateful that I have had the opportunity to learn from Donna. She is a truly talented, motivated and caring health care provider.
