Pre-Hab: Before it Hurts
By taking an active role in managing your injuries before they become painful and limiting, you can “pre-hab” the injury.  Pre-hab is addressing the injury before it unravels.  Once an injury starts to unravel, it can lead to increased inactivity.  Increased inactivity can launch a chain of musculo-skeletal events that can complicate an injury that was minimal to begin with.  The knee pain that is ignored, the low back pain that is minimized, the shoulder pain that stops you from being able to reach. Take the initiative and become  more involved in addressing these injuries so that you can become more active  and continue to enjoy life more fully.
